Royal's Fried Chicken - Cedar Hill

I heard about them through Facebook and died to try them. Finally, I was able today, and I must say that they definitely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the three-piece mixed chicken with medium apron. Oh, my God, the chicken with the apron is so bomb! You cook it freshly to order! This is one thing I really loved, a nice hot fried chicken fresh from the fat! I recommend you all try, but make sure to call in your order if you are in a hurry. 15 minutes seems like a long time, but the chicken is definitely worth waiting! You won a customer for life!

Visited Royal's on recommendation from the Nextdoor app. Very high reviews so I felt it imperative that I confirm lol. Called my order in because each order is made fresh. So I was in and out with my wings and fries. Great customer service. The owner is quite the character. Chicken was very flavorful and not greasy. Seasoned right and not salty. Good fries with pickles and a pepper. I will definitely be going back.

My daughter ordered the nuggets, which surprisingly resembled strips, but she really enjoyed them. Her meal came with plenty of hushpuppies and a generous portion overall. I had been looking forward to dining at Royals Fried Chicken. My daughter and grandchildren were familiar with it but had never visited the restaurant before. Unfortunately, I ended up with the wrong order. I ordered a whole white meal with a breast and wing combo, but when we returned home, I discovered I received a basket of party wings instead. This was disappointing, especially since I paid for the whole white meal that I was expecting.

They truly live up to their name! The chicken was tender, fresh, and nicely seasoned. I opted for a fish fillet, and it was just as delightful. Even though I was away from my usual choices, I discovered a new favorite. I indulged in the fish before taking a picture.

I had a great lunch today! The chicken sliders were outstanding, and the seasoning was spot on! You can really taste how much care went into the preparation. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Highly recommend checking it out!
