Romano's Macaroni Grill - Cedar Hill

The food was simply disappointing. The meatballs were overly mushy, and the tomato soup lacked flavor. During our visit on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only six tables occupied. Additionally, the service was quite slow, both from the kitchen and the waitstaff. I’m not sure how this place stays in business.

While the warm welcome was impressive, it didn't last. The restaurant seemed understaffed, even though we were the only patrons apart from two other tables. The food I ordered was flavorful, but the top was dry, suggesting it had been sitting out for a while. The shrimp in my dish lacked the seasoning and flavor that the rest of the meal had, resulting in an unbalanced taste. The bread was slightly overcooked as well. Additionally, the wine was served warm rather than chilled, which was unexpected. Although the customer service was friendly when they did check on us, I found the overall experience disappointing. The dining area and presentation of the food were excellent, but I personally wouldn't recommend or return to this restaurant.

I brought my son along, and we both had a fantastic time enjoying the food. I had always thought they only served various types of macaroni (LOL), but I was pleasantly surprised by their diverse Italian menu. The Brussels sprouts and lobster bisque soup were delicious! We also had a great time coloring on the table.

Our family ate here for the first time a few months ago. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was delicious. My wife had the lobster bisque it was a bit cold but the taste was great. Her main meal was not super great and was just ok, as was the pasta that came with my chicken. Would still recommend and will revisit in the future. Was not packed so it was quick to get a table and the prices were great. It was a nice change from only thing Olive Garden was the only choice for Italian.

She's the best of the best. Thanks for providing excellent service for my family and I. Food was delicious and properly heated. Served in a timely fashion I will recommend this restaurant to all I know. You are an asset and a pleasure thank you!
