I visited this restaurant just over a week ago after driving up from Atlanta, Georgia, to see some family. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent selection of beers. Welp, I gave Lark another try last night because I really want to like this place. I ordered the calamari special as an appetizer and shrimp andouille sausage tacos. The tacos were possibly the worst I have ever had. Greesy soggy corn tortilla, overcooked tiny shrimp, dried out and overcooked sausage slices...the sauce was bad, no garnish hardly at all.. just not good. Got the meatloaf sandwich, it was so incredibly oily and sopping wet. I strongly recommend switching the bread with that item to something a little more solid and less porous. Also the owner is a massive tool lol

The food is so good and is locally sourced. It's a little pricey but they do have good specials. Plus the little kids' area is adorable!

First time coming in tonight. We originally was going to go to huhot, but after standing there for 10 mins without someone greeting us, I decided why not go next door? Oh man! Best decision! We got the crab rangoon nachos I will have dreams about these nachos. Drink service was slow, which is a big one for us, especially after a long work week, BUT we'll definitely be back! The whole team was extremely nice and apologized for the wait on drinks, and the food came out super fast. Might have found one of our favorites in the Cedar Valley

Updated 11/29/22POS ownership, truly horrible people who lie, cheat, and steal from employees. Has been for years, we should have seen it coming. Shouldn't be long before the doors close and they screw over the few people who have stuck around.Fantastic food and amazing staff. Such a nice place.

Friendly crew and amazing food! the cook is rocking that place and the prices are very fair! 10/10 would recommend and would go back!
