El Bolson - Cedar City

El Bolson serves the best tacos in Cedar City, if not in all of Utah. They use handmade tortillas, which are warm and chewy with a slight crispness from the comal. Their salsa verde is outstanding as well. It's a small, charming spot with a surprisingly top-notch taquería. I will definitely be coming back!

I had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant. The wait time was a little longer than expected, but I understand it was busy, with people ahead of me and only one cook in the kitchen. Nevertheless, the staff—both the man and woman—were very polite and friendly. The food tasted like authentic Mexican home cooking, which transported me back to Rio Bravo, Mexico. Overall, it was a delightful meal!

El Bolson is a great little convenience store where you can find a variety of Mexican products. They offer items like Mexican cheese, cream, candies, huaraches, and duritos for snacking. They even provide shipping to Mexico and almost all of Latin America. Give it a try—you'll love it!

Apparently this place doesn't know what business is. Not open when they're schedule says they are. Terrible business plan. Wish I could do a negative star.

We went to this restaurant because of the great reviews in June 2016. The reviews saying this is a restaurant are incorrect it is a market with a small takeout window and a very limited menu. The kitchen looks like a family kitchen, and the food tastes like family food. That being said, the shredded pollo in the burrito was delicious but the rest of the burrito was bland rice beans and cheese. I couldn't tell whether the tortillas were handmade or not. The salsa that came with the burrito was spicy and tasty. Definitely not the best Mexican food I have ever had, but edible.
