Located away from the busy beachfront, this corner of Cecina is perfect for a more refined dining experience with a classy but comfortable interior. Each dish was artfully prepared by talented young star chef Nico Bertini. I highly recommend the Catalan appetizer (antipasto catalano con cruditè di verdure e crostacei bolliti) as beautiful as it was delicious. It was followed by the potato soup with fried cod (vellutata di patate con baccalà fritto e oliva taggiasca),, with just the right crunch factor. The risotto with prawns was amazing best one I had in Italy (risotto cremolato ai gamberi e fiori di zucca), followed by a dessert experience you will just have to try crumble di crema al mascarpone, frutti rossi, disco di cioccolata e coulis caldo di fragole. The bread served was baked on the premises by the chef himself, and was better than any I 'd had yet on this trip up and down Italy. Love this place.
