Since I arrived in Cebu from Chicago last October, I have been searching for Filipino food that resembled the taste, aroma and quality as I remembered it to be in my younger days before I left the country. This place gave me that eureka moment! They even prepared food the way I like it. They have boodle packages for larger groups. We came just before noon so we got undivided attention from our server who was very fri... View all feedback.

Reasonable price, fresh seafoods, friendly and helpful staff.
Affordable grilled seafood with huge portions suitable for sharing.
Went there during the pandemic and I think they remove some items on the menu. We checked the menu posted on other reviews so we will know what to expect and to decide ahead of time what dishes we should order. Surprisingly, most of the items we saw online was not offered anymore. Food was still delicious though. Especially the rice on the photo. I forgot the name but it's super delicious. A little bit pricey but base on the food I tasted, I think it's worth it.
Seafood island is a great visit when you are with a big group. When my friends and family visited the Philippines I wanted them to try good Filipino food. Seafood island will never let me down when introducing filipino cuisine to new people. Try ordering different kind of boodle sets to really get a good experience!
A fishmonger in Ayala Where to eat in Cebu? There are many options in this bustling city, the second largest city in the Philippines. You will find many excellent restaurants in Ayala mall and so also you will find Seafood Island on the 4:th floor of the mall. The ambience is nice and airy and one side of the restaurant comes with a view over Cebu Business Park through big windows. Lots of goodies Seafood Island offer a variety of seafood, fish and meat. It took me a while to decide for the Binalot Boracay, a platter with lots of yummy stuff. Grilled shrimps, fish, squids and vegetables served with special rice with shrimp paste. This portion is good for at least two persons but since my appetite is comparable with two normal persons it was good for me. Summary The food was served on a banana leaf but the look of what was on the leaf and what was in the menu was perhaps not exactly. But the food was tasty and the staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant had an excellent WiFi. The big plus with Seafood Island was the airy ambience and the nice view. The food was good but it's a fierce competition among restaurants in this area so next time I will probably try another place. Rating: 1-5 where 1 is terrible and 5 is excellent 4 Food 4 Service 4 Value 5 Atmosphere I was here late December 2016
