Contribute FeedbackOyster Bar Seafood Restaurant near the Maayo Hotel in Cebu offers consistently delicious seafood dishes in a beach-like atmosphere. While a bit pricey for the area, the food is good and the service is enjoyable. The massive lobster and delectable oysters on the half shell are highlights. The baked scallops, calamari, sweet and sour lapu-lapu, and beef pochero soup are all highly recommended. However, the dessert options are not as satisfying. Overall, Oyster Bar Seafood Restaurant is a must-visit for a satisfying dining experience, especially for seafood lovers.
The place is perfect for us, because it is only close to our place. If we are in the restaurant for a birthday party of my daughter, we love the cozy place. They can see the fresh lobster and other seafood and they can sneak when. they will order it.
Eating in oyster bar seafood restaurant was a constant when I visit cebu and the reason is simple that they served some of the most amazing seafood dishes. I also like the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant and its attentive staff. not too...the baked skalopps. gosh! her version is the best I've ever tried. it is so cheesy and fresh and the size of the scallop is huge! I also like that the garlic season is not exaggerated. I swear, there's no stopping when you eat one. her calamari is also one of the best- very tasty and super crispy. the dive that goes with him is actually no longer necessary to enjoy the court. another must be the sweet and acidic Lapu-lapu, the fish was fried for perfection and is not oily. and the sauce? yum! a good mix of sweet and sour with puffy nots and sweet from the cuts. now, if it is meat that they enjoy, I highly recommend the bark pochero suppe, which is almost like the bulalo. the meat was tenderly boiled and flaky, it simply falls off the bone. the suppe was quite thick and tasteful because the mark that dissolved in the broth. it has also cut hollow and bamboo shoots, the texture added when they eat it. for dessert is my favorit the cocosnusssorbet. pity, it is not available, the last we visit. we had the trio cream brulee and leche flan, but they were not so satisfied. everything in all is oyster bar very recommended. always a satisfying experience!
The restaurant is pleasant but expensive. The quality of the food does not justify the high prices. The service was average. I ordered a small lobster, steamed rice, and a soft drink, and ended up paying 5000 pesos. It was overpriced. The lobster was not cooked well and the sauce was unappetizing. I left the restaurant feeling frustrated and still hungry because the portion size was not sufficient.
Over the years, this restaurant has consistently offered the best seafood dishes with a wide range of options. The atmosphere is wonderful as it gives the feeling of being at the beach, which is a major positive! Additionally, they offer a daily fish feeding activity for guests to participate in. Absolutely fantastic!
Close to the Maayo hotel, it is a short walk to this restaurant. Although a little expensive for Cebu standards, the food was good and the service light hearted and fun!
