Circulo Recreativo Casino

Originally this was a local working men’s club dating back to 1900. The team behind the stylish Trasierra hotel (just outside the town) have revamped the club and turned it into a destination restaurant, whilst maintaining the friendly local atmosphere. The decor is beautiful with colourful tiles and attention to detail. The food is simple but delicious. Highlights of our visit included yummy anchovies on toast, scrambled eggs with asparagus and a show stopping salad of leaves, herbs, fruit and nuts. The service is friendly, the wines interesting and the prices more than fair. This place could not be recommended more highly and deserves to succeed.

A little hidden away but do worth visiting. I had visited for a drink a couple of times and the staff were friendly. We recently took dinner there and I would have to say although the menu is limited it is stunning. The seabass was cooked to perfection. Fiona the cook was super friendly and d peaks very good English do was able to help us chose from the menu. Would highly recommend it.
