Just a quick review to say I couldn’t eat here because of the sad (only just a-)live lobsters in the tank on display. I know it’s a restaurant for omnivores but it was beyond what is right.
This restaurant is very colourful and plays authentic Croatian music. The waiter was keen to ensure that he was bringing me the correct meal ie vegan and not vegetarian. I ordered tomato soup which was hand made, totally fresh and delicious. Wish there more options so that I could eat here more frequently.
Amazing food good range of options. Very helpful and friendly too. 5 star service. Beautiful view looking out at sea. Could’ve sat here all afternoon. Lovely mellow vibe. More reasonably priced compared to Dubrovnik.
Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous views. The waiting staff are very friendly. The food was delicious and they’re very aware of what vegan is. Only downside being they only have 1 option (when we visited at least but maybe this will change! which was mixed veggies, rice and veggie patty/fritter type things. It was more like risotto rice but everything tasted great. We were able to enjoy the bread and oil but no starters or desserts available to us
Interesting enough they have a huge vegetarian/vegan special board. Asking which one of the 10 or so dishes are actually vegan, I was told “all of them”. As a matter of fact there is a cheese platter and tomato mozzarella included which are obviously not vegan, but the waiter didn’t understand why. I ordered vegan polpette but I got something completely wrong because the waiter didn’t even know what I’m ordering. My friend got “vegan pasta primavera”… with egg pasta… Finally I got my food (after my friend finished eating) and it was good. With an other waiter the experience might have been more pleasant. I hope so, because their vegan options are rare in Croatia.
