From the bay of Cavtat, you can take a water taxi to Dubrovnik and visit the Old City, its walls, or take a short cable car ride to the top of the hill for a panoramic view of the entire city. I plan to return here for a longer stay as I learned that June, July, and August are typically very crowded in the Old City, so the owner recommended avoiding those months. Due to the Covid-19 situation, the streets were quieter than usual, allowing me to explore without feeling overwhelmed. Dubrovnik is a stunning city where many scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed, and it is definitely worth a visit if staying in Cavtat.
