Autour Du Grill - Cavignac

We just got back from a dinner at the Grill and unfortunately this will be our last time there and here is why . Today in the menu was lobster proposed (30 euros 3 from our family members decided to take 1 each we had 1.3kg steak (which was very good I must say , after waiting for nearly 1 hour we got served , however the lobsters which were ordered with sauce on the side all arrived with sauce on it , the wrong garniture and no ustensiles to actually eat it . So we asked for the proper tools to eat them but apparently they were out because another of their restaurants took them . In short instead of enjoying the lobsters my 3 family members were frustrated and my father simply stopped trying to eat it and just left it alone . We clearly told the waiters/director that serving lobster without any tools to eat them should not happen. Mistakes after mistakes (tools , not properly done as ordered , wrong side dish , wrong sauce we expected at least for a commercial gesture , we anyway took desert and finally asked for the bill , the bill came in full with absolutely no commercial gesture , not even a coffee offered. We didn’t even know what to say , simply paid and left . It was the last time they see us and we will for sure tell our friends not to go anymore. Shame as the meat is effectively good and until today we always enjoyed going there but this was unacceptable and completely unprofessional.

Great choice of grilled meat dishes, excellent access for limited mobility, easy parking, very nice staff with excellent English.

I travelled with my wife to this part of France and found this restaurant. We visited at lunchtime and the place was very busy with a very friendly atmosphere. The set menu was fantastic value and the meat was cooked in front of us. The quality of the food was high. I whole heartedly recommend this place.

Super place and great service! They even have us extra big portions of fish. Warm and friendly service!

Family lunch break.Viande, perfect and rosé tuna as it should be. The meats are grilled under your eyes.And on the outside pleasant terrace with view of the garden.Personal very friendly.
