What Roland Voss doesn't like about Kahana's Grill And Cafe:
The idea that this is supposed to be a restaurant focussed on fusion, or any other particular cuisine, did not occur to me. It rather seems to be one of those places where one eats whatever is not out of stock and washes it down with instant juice. The garlic with chicken was okay, but the pizza was underbaked and not palatable, and the sisig was fat swimming in oil. There is room for improvement, I suppose. View all feedback.

They nailed the oyakudon as you would have in pricy Japanese restaurants. Their tuna steak was served on a sizzling plate and it had a good balance of flavor with a hint of butter and fried garlic. It was interesting to see their Sinuglaw, a grilled pork belly with kinilaw. The sweet-roasty taste of the belly paired quite well with the sourness of the fresh kinilaw.This restaurant is definitely my favorite, only if it wasn't too far from our home.
