4.5 stars. Just keep on going back, good staff, great food, lovely place to spend time. Menus on the small side but all perfectly formed. Big beer garden, ample parking, river on its doorstep what more can you ask for.
What Jon Lloyd doesn't like about Swan Inn Bar Restaurant:
Was looking to have lunch, however as they opened, a member of staff very rudely stated that they were to busy opening up to take orders at that time, and we'd have to come back and see if they could do it later they suggested an hour)So we went elsewhere, and had a much more pleasant experience in another pub. Turned up in a group of 12 on one of the hottest days of the year. Ordered our food which turned up at the table promptly and all together so no one had to wait. We had a couple of fussy eaters and their meals were perfect and exactly as ordered. Very good value and excellent tasting. Could not recommend highly enough. Awesome A
A nice, traditional country pub in a scenic location by the river. Food was good and service was decent. Menu was rather small, but that's usually a good sign as it means the quality is higher.
Food was decent however some of the staff were slightly rude, however was a nice day out.
Pub and restaurant in a beautiful location. Dog friendly. Good ales. Friendly staff. Amazing Sunday Roast!
Not the friendliest service. Had bread and olives which was just sliced toast and lamb shank which I’m sure was reheated. Wouldn’t recommend.
