We're in town once a year and this is a must stop. Love the prime rib and aujus they make. It's the only thing I've ever ordered and will order. Sawdust on the floor. Big windows overlooking the river. It's a fun place to eat. It's louder them most restaraunts, I like this because if the kids make noise it's not embarrassing like a fancy steakhouse. Over cooked steak. Had waitress ask kitchen if it was overcooked and they said it was, but it was somehow my fault for not ordering it rare and having them reheat it to the medium rare I actually wanted. Beer was cold. View all feedback.
Great atmosphere and the steak was amazing. We sat at the bar and had a great time. This will be a stop everytime we are in Pierre SD.
Excellent service and food. Being from the beef state (NE) the filet was fantastic.
It's a very basic menu place. Sirloin was decent. Cook on steak was decent a more done then I liked but not enough to send back. I am sure with what they say they would have redone it. Salad was a good with little toppings box they bring out. Toast was ok. Drinks were reasonably prices. Chocolate cake was good. A little high priced for what I got medium to med well should have been a medium but it was also a thicker cut. Waitress and bar people were are really nice and attentive.
10 stars! This was our 2nd fishing trip to Pierre and this place is a must stop with great food and very nice people, you can tell by the customers that this is a local go to for great experience!!
