This restaurant offers fantastic food and a lovely atmosphere! It's more of a lounge than a bar, which I really appreciate, along with the pinball machines! It's becoming rare to find places with them these days! I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in Pierre! View all feedback.
What Graham Oey doesn't like about Jake's Good Times Place:
We were seated and attended by a rather unpleasant waitress. We had to confirm our order twice. The food arrived quickly, but it was disappointing. I ordered the taco salad, and the tortilla was stale. The meat lacked seasoning, and the lettuce consisted of a mixed salad that tasted old and was chopped poorly. The tomatoes were under ripe. Consistently delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere make this place perfect for any occasion.
Great spot for a meal and socializing! It has a vibe that blends a steakhouse atmosphere with that of a sports bar.

I hadn't dined here for dinner in about two years, and I was pleased to find that the service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were. The cheeseburger was tasty and was served with a generous portion of fries. I personally prefer the crinkle-cut fries since they're firmer than the homemade ones. The hot wings arrived perfectly sauced, not overwhelming at all.

Overall, the restaurant felt outdated and worn down, which is a shame for a Pierre staple. The riblets were decent, though.
