Reviews - Bittersweet
Reviews summary
Bittersweet, a charming ice cream shop, offers a delightful yet limited menu, with Jane's Ice Cream flavors and a few vegan options being its highlights. While specialties like chocolate cherry and coffee made with oat milk are creamy and delicious, patrons may be disappointed by the lack of variety in plant-based choices. The atmosphere can be marred by service inconsistencies, as professionalism may falter amidst personal interactions. Despite a quaint vibe and unique flavors like apricot orange blossom, the combination of limited offerings and questionable service practices suggests there are more appealing desserts elsewhere.

When you visit this cute little ice cream shop, be sure to inquire about their vegan flavors. During my visit, I tried the chocolate cherry and coffee flavors, both of which were made with oat milk and incredibly creamy. I'm looking forward to going back again soon. View all feedback.
What Gonzalo Conn dislikes about Bittersweet:
This restaurant offers a limited selection of vegan options, with coffee being the only plant-based choice available. They also offer Jane's Ice Cream, a popular brand that can be found in many local stores. Would have been great to have more vegan options on the menu. View all feedback.

I absolutely adored the Killer Chocolate ice cream at this place! I highly recommend trying it.
You can only pay with cash or Venmo at this restaurant. Despite its small size, there are plenty of menu options, including vegan choices. The seasonal apple and pumpkin ice creams were delicious!
I arrived at the restaurant and noticed a sign on the door stating that only 2 people were allowed inside at a time. I patiently waited outside while a group inside completed their order. A man with a child approached, looked inside, and then got in line behind me. He appeared frustrated by the wait and eventually walked into the restaurant. The server started chatting with him and, to my surprise, asked him out on a date. The man avoided making eye contact with me, as I was following the pandemic rules of waiting my turn. The customer was rude and tried to establish a local connection, but the server's behavior was even more inappropriate in allowing this. I recommend that they try using Tinder if they are looking for a date and to maintain professionalism when dealing with customers, especially when it comes to following COVID guidelines. While Jane's ice cream is delicious, there are plenty of other places to get it. Unfortunately, Bittersweet is not worth the visit as it was more bitter than sweet. I would suggest avoiding it altogether.
