I visited Bubba's last week after seeing its impressive 4.5-star rating on Yelp. Having enjoyed BBQ for over 55 years, I was looking forward to my meal, but it turned out to be the worst experience I've had during that time. I ordered the two-meat plate with ribs and brisket, along with coleslaw. When I tried to cut the ribs, they completely fell apart. Two-thirds of the ribs had a texture that felt like sawdust in my mouth. Honestly, if I had tasted sawdust drenched in BBQ sauce, it might have been more enjoyable. There was one slice of brisket that was somewhat fatty yet very dry, and the BBQ sauce barely helped improve it. Overall, it was a disastrous meal, and I honestly can't understand how Bubba's earned a 4.5-star rating on Yelp!
