The portions were generous, and I loved the guava empanadas, bandeja paisa, and maracuyá juice at this restaurant. I still need to try their buñuelos, but make sure to order them early as they take an hour to prepare. View all feedback.
What Karen Dove doesn't like about Empanada City:
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but my experience today was disappointing. I ordered the roasted chicken platter, and the chicken was overly fatty. In the past, they served breast meat, but this time it seemed like they used thigh meat, which was unappetizingly greasy. I ended up having to throw it out. View all feedback.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent! I highly recommend this place. Thank you to the wonderful staff!
The food here is excellent. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is not very spacious, so be prepared for takeout. There is some seating available, but it is limited.

The empanadas here are fantastic! My only issue is that they’re closed about 90% of the time I visit, even when Google says they’re open. It might be a good idea to update the hours. Definitely call ahead. But the empanadas are so delicious that I still give it a 5-star rating!
