I have visited Old Cottage about 4 5 times over the past year and each time I miss it more. I visit Catanzaro frequently as I travel abroad and no visit is ever complete unless I dine at Old Cottage. The ambiance is warm, the food and its flavors are top of the line, the hospitality and service are familiar and attentive, and best of all its for an unbeatable price. Calabria is known for its gastronomy and Old Cottage really takes you into their home to taste their flavors. Whether you are going for an aperitivo, dinner, their menu has something to satisfy your needs leaving your taste buds dancing! This restaurant is worth the visit! I recommend their Arancini cooked perfectly and pack a punch alla 'nduja and their Dal Camino Pizza, their Patatine accompanied with BBQ sauce will also leave you wanting a second portion! Th... read more We went to this restaurant on August 10th for pizza in Catanzaro. We had a grilled Tomino appetizer and two traditional pizzas, the Silana and the Calabrese. The pizza was delicious, the appetizer excellent, and above all, the welcome was very warm. We highly recommend it to anyone near Catanzaro Lido. Plus, we were outside, so it was really cool.
