Busy, but not over crowded. Good selection of cocktails but wine was quite limited by the glass. Decent light bites and something to everyone’s taste. The only thing that really let this place down was the service… it was painfully slow. 10-15 mins wait every time. Also, quite a lot of street vendors/ buskers after 7/8pm.

The restaurant/wine bar is charming and the service was very friendly. We had excellent pasta alla Norma, pasta with swordfish and meatballs in lemon leaves, which were just great.

During the day they do fabulous antipasti platters and then from 8pm onwards they have a different evening menu, from veal with tuna cream, swordfish, meatballs wrapped in lemon leaves and beef filet cooked with hot oil on a plate. You have to try their croquettes as well. Plenty for pescatarians and vegetarians to try. It was such a wonderful find, filled with locals and the staff made us feel like we were family too. Thank you for making our stay and dining experience in Catania, until the next time.

In the meantime, som... read more With wife and kid in Catania, found this location, no tables. In a lateral one table with two chairs, we borrow a chair from another table. In the meantime, some table became free and we move there. But bad for us, a friend of the waiter was comin' and the waiter told us to leave the table because is for him. No reservation was made before. This was a horrible moment, never happend to us before, in any country we were. We leave this joint , they don't deserve our attention. Shame on you!
