I came here alone to journal. I enjoyed the cappuccinos and croissants. I then switched over to Prosecco and my friend joined me. They ordered the local pasta, which consisted of Pomodoro sauce and eggplant. It was simply delicious. Antonio took care of us. Before I asked for something, he brought it. His English was fantastic and he was just… great all around. If you want to have a local feel, please come here. I was able to have a local authentic experience. If you want to be the only tourist somewhere and have some excellent Sicilian delicacies, COME HERE! Ask for Antonio and be ready to enjoy everything. The area is wonderful too, I added pictures to share some of the local ambiance.
Lovely cafe here, fresh food and lively atmosphere. We opted for croissants, Americano and Italian coffee. Service was good and very good value for money at 8€ for two pastries, two coffees and coke. Recommended by patron there for lunch.
This was a fantastic find! It is a small cafe with prepared meals for either take out or to dine in. I had a pasta Norma and a half order of eggplant parmesan. I loved both. My daughter had sausage and potatoes. She loved it. There was a fantastic young English speaking waiter that did a great job taking care of us! Thanks for a great lunch!
They don't have a menu so you'll have to pick what you want to eat from a wide range of food on display behind the glass counter and the waiter will heat up the food for you. Making a choice was a little difficult as we thought all looked good! You can choose to eat in or have a takeaway. The place was filled with locals by 1 pm, service was also very quick. We settled for 2 pasta primi, 1 octopus as secondi pesce tasty and portions were generous. The bill came to 24 euros for the food plus water and coffee.
