Cathedrals - Catania

Directly at the piazza del duomo, next to the famous fountain. we sat in a eckish and observed people who posing on photos of the fountain. only outside seats. friendly staff. we had a few aperol splash (6 and 2 arancini (2 could only be the best arancini after 20 days in sicily. we chose the cheese and spinat. it was really very warm and the interieur just fell apart so well. had to use a fork to make sure we get all the good feelings for the locals. I'm sorry, no pictures; just ate as fast!

Located right on the main Piazza del Duomo, just beside the famous fountain. We sat in a corner table watching people posing for photos by the fountain. Outside seating only. Friendly staff. We had a couple of Aperol spritz (6€ and 2 arancini (2€ . Just might be the best arancini after 20 days in Sicily. We chose the cheese and spinach. Served really quite warm and the interior just fell apart so good. Had to use a fork to make sure we got all the goodness shocking for the locals. Sorry no pictures; just ate it up so quickly!

This bar had friendly staff but had clearly seen better days. Sadly the draught beer was flat (as well as expensive). Such a pity, as the location right on the piazza is pleasant.

Had breakfast here every morning; staff were very friendly and helpful. Mainly pasties, but was lovely to sit in the early morning sunshine and watch the Piazza Duomo come to life.

Stayed nearby, had Coffee most mornings here. Service very prompt and efficient, waiter remembered me and my order every time. A welcome change. Sat outside, was very clean and well maintained.
