Al Tropical - Catania

Looking for a bar near my accommodation without crossing km, I find this place and I stop for breakfast. Good. creamy and abundant granita with brioche (fragrant and soft) and espresso coffee. plentiful breakfast eat with goto sitting at the table outside. sin for traffic. without it would be perfect. however good start of day

Authentic and without frills, not tourism. granite, pasta and coffee really good. at risk of causing diplomatic accidents: in my opinion, the granita is better than the spinella:d

We arrived late in the evening, when generally all restaurateurs are tired, but we had a special reception from the owner ezio, who showed us and explained the main ingredients of the granita. granite to the goto of sublime almond, we then wanted to taste the ice creams, equally good and various. Absolutely fantastic gelato. Really good price for the ice cream quality. Try the caramel wafer, toasted almond or the Santo Domingo chocolate varieties. They also do a mean Campari Spritz cocktail which is a steal at eur While there, you can munch on the delicious arancini from the next door takeaway which always has a queue of local people waiting for them. Will certainly return on my next stay in Catania.

I had a beautiful cappuccino and a very tasty plain croissant at this place. It was in the morning on a Sunday and I was happy to find this place open when others were not.
