Ospi is a restaurant located in Sallent, a little town in the bank of Llobregat River, between Manresa and Berga, in the center of Catalonia. I came here to lunch foie, duck confit and bread-chocolate-oil-salt (a typical Catalan dessert). I would need a duck menu and here it was great. I enjoyed a lot with foie and confit (only the orange was too sour). Also, there was a little starter with Catalan products and oil, and an excellent red wine of the region: Petit Bernat from Oller del Mas Winery. Excellent restaurant.
Ospi is a restuarant located in Sallent, a town between Manresa and Berga, in the center of Catalonia. We came here to take away the Christmas Menu, and it was a great idea, because it was fantastic. Also the rate quality/price was excellent. In yhr menu there were some starters to share like homemade foie, tuna tartare with guacamole, meat mini-cannelonni breaded, Galician octopus, patatas bravas. Also I tasted beef with Porto sauce and foie, and 3 chocolates cake. All were very good, especially the beef! In the menu a red wine called Petit Bernat from Oller dell Mas winery (Pla de Bages D.O. was included. And my daughter ate cannelonni and macarronni and she enjoyed a lot with her menu and with the octopus and patatas bravas. Excellent!
I called on a Tuesday to make a reservation for Saturday lunch time. I drove on purpose over there and when I got there, it was closed! I just could not believe it. I called many times and nobody replied, of course. I eventually ended up in Can Pere Masia, and I really recommend it! Food and service is just great.
I visited the restaurant and we had the tasting menu. Very good food, great service and great wines!
