I preferred it when it was an all-you-can-eat option. I always loved going back for more of the coleslaw because it's just that good! They still serve a generous portion of fish, which is fantastic! Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Dangelo Bayer doesn't like about Cross Road Tavern:
I’m giving this place two stars only because of the friendly country folk who were there as patrons. Everything else about this place was 1 star. The food wasn’t warm when it arrived at our table and tasted like anything you could make at home out of a freezer bag. Also, it was unclear where we were supposed to order when we walked in, and the old leather troll that was supposed to be helping us was too busy with her... View all feedback.

Back in 2004 we took a Saturday afternoon trip to the country and stumbled on it. We fell in love with Cat Spring and brought real estate there in 2005.
Country atmosphere, get plenty of food on the plate to not get away hungry
Great place to stop for something cold to drink and good to eat. Very sociable locals!
Sheri and Bonnie were very accommodating. Mrs. Bonnie made is feel right at home like she's your owe grandmother. Sheri was a local gal with great conversation and told is a lot about the area we didn't know about and was very sweet. We look forward to lunch tommorow.
