I had tofu and fish with rice and noodles at Honig Huh, a cost-effective meal just before closing time. The leftovers are a hidden gem for future meals. The moon cake was delicious and overall, Happy Garden never disappoints with their food. The bao buns and vegetable spring rolls are also a hit. Sometimes they have freshly cut quarters available which are always tasty! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Happy Garden:
This place is situated in the lower level eatery of Casuarina Shopping Square. We were visiting from Brisbane to see family for Xmas and found ourselves shopping here on occasions. Happy Garden has always been a long time favourite for locals however I was disappointed to see the prices of serves have become "inflated" in recent years. The lady who served me was rushed and business like, no smile. We would never pay... View all feedback.

Dropped in on a busy Friday night with out a booking - seated straight awayStaff friendly, experienced and polite.

Happy Garden is conveniently located in both Parap and the Gateway Shopping Centre in Palmerston. They have been serving high quality lunches for almost 30 years. The menu features a variety of freshly prepared dishes, including favorites like braised and grilled pork, Mongolian beef, vegetable chow mein, mapo tofu, duck and pork stir-fry, fried rice, and appetizers. Customers can order small, medium, or large portions and customize their own combination. In addition, they offer made-to-order soups and laksa. The owners, who are chemical engineering graduates, jokingly claim to calculate the perfect amount of MSG to maximize beverage sales. (But not really).
The reviewer suspects they are purchasing food near closing time because the meals are prepackaged and discounted. They purchased tofu and omelette with chicken and noodles for $8, which they note is a good deal. The food outlet is likely one of the most popular in the area. The reviewer also mentions buying a quarter of a meal, which they found to be a nice option for one person.
