However, the service and wait time leave much to be desired. It's recommended to arrive an hour or two before you're hungry in order to fully appreciate the beautiful setting, as you may spend a significant amount of time waiting. The beer selection is also excellent. Overall, I would give this restaurant 3 stars and hope that they improve their service by hiring more staff or investing in additional resources.

The... read more This restaurant is currently not very good. The pizza doesn't have enough sauce, the crust is always burnt, and the pepperoni slices are too big and thick. The pizza is also always oily, with too much crust that isn't filled in with toppings. The stands they use for the pizza are flimsy, the tables are small, and while there is a cute area upstairs, you can only eat there if it's a party. The servers can be rude at times, which is strange considering they rely on tips. The restaurant is open from 4-10 and is never too busy, so it seems like the servers may not be motivated to provide good service. Overall, don't expect good service if you don't tip well, but the servers should also do their job properly in order to earn a tip.

The outdoor dining space is perfec... read more I have been a patron of this restaurant for the last 3 years and I must say that their pizza is some of the best in the area. The outdoor dining space is perfect for enjoying a meal in good weather. I also appreciate their daily specials and the delicious spaghetti meatballs. My only criticism is that the staff can be inconsistent, as we have encountered some rude wait staff at times. However, overall, this place offers fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

The service was the best, and for a small town, definitely expected! Blah! I hate when service isn't at least friendly. Anyway, the food was so good!!! Started with fried pickles which are fresh, thinly battered and yummy!!! The pizza though y'all! It was so, so good. The crust was thin and crispy but chewy. The sauce was tasty bu not over powering. Covered in yummy, fresh and delicious mozzarella, perfect pepperoni on Italian sausage. For the pizza alone, I'd be back for sure. Inside is a very small restaurant. Outside is a nice sized patio and maybe on a nice day would be great. Read some reviews on here that they had live music, but when I asked about it, they said they hadn't done live music in a while...??? The coffee shop next door! Go there too! Super cute too! Love me some Castroville, down home locals.
