The hotel presents itself with a little pretentiousness. The restaurant doesn’t match. Reservations required, but you still stand in line waiting for a table if you have a reservation. It’s a pizza express with the lack of service to go with it. Great place. Stayed at the hotal a couple of times. The restaurant is good but a bit overpriced. Breakfast/brunch are fantastic!!!! One of the best we had
This restaurant is in the Praia Verde Boutique Hotel. There are few restaurants within walking distance, and I had traveled this day. So I stayed here. It is expensive, but I expected that here. The ambiance is lovely, an extension of the hotel lobby. Open design with a lot of use of wood. The design feel reminded me of the Rooms Hotels in Tbilisi Kazbegi (Georgia). I had the sea bass, which was served as the whole fish it was grilled with some spices and was tender tasty. It was very easy to de-bone (fillet). It was super tender tasty. The couvert little dishes were good. So I did not order an appetizer. My only negative was the 3€ charge for still water. When I was asked if I wanted water, the waiter should have told me of the fee. It was in a fancy bottle with the hotel’s name. I ate here one more night and had the tuna sashimi. It came with vegetables potatoes in a (steamed) pot. The slices of fish came with a wonderful sauce.

Ate here for numerous days. All the portions were at least good. The aged entrecote and tiger prawn were in top 5 in their category of all time. Only thing negative is the pricing. Athmosphere is fantastic with the wood oven and ligthning. Also great acoustics.
