In a place like Southern Italy, (behavioral) warmth is naturally expected, so if you are looking for that experience, don’t choose this restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere in the courtyard and friendly st... read more For some reason, most of the restaurants were closed for lunch here in Castro so we ended up at DA Amedeo. Very nice atmosphere in the courtyard and friendly staff. We started with a mixed salad and an octopus salad. But were freshly prepared, lightly dressed with olive oil and vinegar and lemon, just the way we like it. Then we had the grouper stuffed ravioli and I had the orechiette with mussels and shrimp, both prepared in light tomato sauce. Flavorful, served steaming hot and good portions. Added a nice rosé and we were happy! We even asked to purchase a tee shirt from the ristorante as it was stylish and we liked it. The total came to 84€ so it is expensive for a lunch but we enjoyed it!
