O... read more Castres is a frustrating place; a decent selection of restaurants but most closed early on a Saturday when there were hordes of Gloucester rugby fans in town. One exception was L'Eden and we enjoyed a late lunch alongside many other cherry-and-white supporters. Although it was...busy, service was prompt and efficient. My burger of the moment was large and tasty; my partner's trout was superb. Very good value and the packed tables were a reward for proprietors who were prepared to ignore the usual closing conventions.
