I went to The Poet for lunch with some friends. The food was okay, but the waitress at the front of house was terrible! When we entered, her first words were 'How many of you are there?' followed by 'You can sit over there' with a sour expression. What's going on, Poet? It's such a nice pub and restaurant! We had my sons 21st birthday party here. The staff couldn't do enough for him to make it special. Food was fab. Staff were amazing . Definitely would recommend the poet. We'll certainly be back .
Unwelcoming. They practically push you out the door and rush to clean up, instead of serving you and encouraging you to stay and spend money.
Went for dinner for a family get together. From we arrived and until we left, staff were fantastic and extremely welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent and presented to a very high standard. Amazing chefs and staff are really good fun. Brilliant night and I would definitely recommend to anyone to visit The Poet. Thank you to the chefs and the staff for a great night.
Well what can I say totally outstanding from I walked through the doors made very welcome from the staff ordered the chicken strips tender and succulent and a light batter totally outstanding food and will definitely recommend and be back again
