Binky's has garnered mixed reviews that paint a vivid picture of diners' experiences. While some guests appreciated the friendly service and enjoyed their lunch, others faced significant disappointment with the quality of food. Reports of greasy breakfasts and reheated chips overshadowed slightly positive aspects, with many expressing dissatisfaction with the meals they received. Notably, the infamous cheesecake fell flat, described as lacking texture and taste. Despite attempts to address concerns, some patrons vowed not to return, seeking more consistent culinary experiences elsewhere. A nearby cafe, 36 Cafe, received praise as a worthy alternative, highlighting the inconsistent dining climate at Binky's.

Was Belfastguy at Binky's a mag?
It was my first time back here in several years. I came for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. The club sandwich was very tasty and a decent size. I had a coffee afterwards which was also nice. The staff were friendly but the only negative thing was that once we had finished our meal it took quite a long time for the plates to be cleared. View all feedback.

Upon entering, we were informed that there would be a 25-minute wait due to a queue. The male server suggested we come back later, but we ignored him and found a table where a couple was leaving. We ordered two large breakfasts and two pots of tea. Unfortunately, the food was the worst we've had in the UK and Ireland. The breakfasts were soaked in grease and completely inedible. This was the worst dining experience we've had in Belfast, and we will not be returning to this pricey establishment. On the bright side, we found a cafe nearby called 36 Cafe that we would highly recommend. It was a 10 out of 10 experience.

My wife and I used to visit Binky's frequently, but as a person with celiac disease, my meals were not always gluten-free as they should have been. Because of this inconsistency, we no longer dine at Binky's and choose to eat at restaurants where we can trust our meals to be prepared correctly.

For cheesecake lovers, be warned that the cheesecake here is jelly-like with a soft base and lacks texture. It almost feels like eating baby food. Even after two of us tried the cheesecake, we both regretted it. One of us opted for the chocolate cake, which was mediocre at best. There was more chocolate sauce than actual cheesecake. We recommend sticking with Cafe Maud's homemade-style cheesecake instead.

Yesterday, we had breakfast, and the Grande breakfast was undoubtedly the best I’ve ever seen or tasted. For a little variety, we also sampled the cinnamon sweet potato with avocado on sourdough, and it was perfect. I’ll be recommending this place to anyone who will listen. Oh, and the staff were amazing too!
