The server was great, but ordered a duck burger and clam chowder, chowder was good, but our burger was burnt not happy

Great food very friendly folks..it's a bar and grill so families can enjoy a meal here as well.. Fair selection of beers on tap.. Easy access.. Great Wednesday wing night.. Bathrooms clean and handicap accessible ..

Have you ever had a Kangaroo burger? This is the place.I ate one, it wasn't bad but I prefer beef.There are no Kangaroos missing in the local news.This place had an interesting menu.I would recommend, I have been back for fish tacos.

We stopped on our way home for lunch, my husband had a Duck burger and it was very good, exactly the way he ordered it. I had the shrimp wrap but placed on bread as a sandwich, it was absolutely delicious. Chips were o.k., I would order something else instead next time.You didn't get a huge serving for the price, but I would return for that shrimp sandwich again. The service was o.k. a little slow when asked for ketchup & vinegar, but otherwise she made us feel good to be there.

I was visiting family and we decided to try the Thirsty Duck which I and they had never been to. We went three times in my short time to the area and every time the food was delicious. The first time I had the pear salad, goat cheese which I swapped out for feta and spicy pecans. It was so good, that I had it again the next time. The third time we went for dinner and I had the fish and chips which were fabulous and another person in our group had the beef dip and raved about it. So as you can suspect, my first meal when I return to the area is The Thirsty Duck. The service all three times truly was superb but one stood out above the rest and that was with Alex who was one of the most gracious servers I have ever had through all my travels and frankly, I have travelled a lot. I commend the management for having investing in a good cook, serving really good food and hiring very personable wait staff who provided outstanding service. It is a pub and thus has a pub atmosphere but we were not there for that, we came for some good food. One thing we did not like is the flies on the front windows that were irritating and I think they would be better served if they addressed it. However, I, and my B.C. family highly recommend The Thirsty Duck.
