While staying in Castlegar for one night we had dinner at the Black Rooster. A nice cosy restaurant with friendly service.The food was good and tasty. Good pizza (a special with pulled pork), tasty pasta and a good chicken dish. My vegetarian daughter was also satisfied with her dish.So...a good place to stop! View all feedback.

Stood at the door for a while. 2 waitresses walked right buy me. Looked at me without smiling then walked right by, so I left. I immediately called and asked for the manager. I told him why I just walked out and he made excuses for the waitresses and seemed uninterested. View all feedback.

Grabed a spicy chicken sluice to go with some Yam frits. Delicious. Really good food and reasonable prices. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant looked clean and in good order. Nice atmosphere. Would go back... there are some other interesting options that look very good. Service: Exit
