The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and Josephine was so helpful and friendly gave me great a history of the place Thank you so much
My first time staying in a place like this, more used to staying in modern hotels. Didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the room decor seemed dated but it works with the history of the place which is very interesting. Few touch ups could be done in the bathroom where paint has chipped from door and the side panel of the bath had a few cracks. Lovely smoking area with comfortable seats. Pints of Moretti were beautiful as was the full irish breakfast. The grounds surrounding the hotel are lovely with steps leading down to a walkway along the Shannon. Small playground to the front of the hotel on a large green and a larger playground can be found a short distance up the road if you turn left on exiting the main gate. Finally I have to say the most enjoyable part of this stay had to have been two sisters who work here, Josephine who served us in the bar and Maggie who served us at breakfast. Absolute beautiful ladies who were so helpful, polite and attentive, we could have stayed talking to them for hours. We would definitely stay here again.
We were there for my sons wedding. Staff second to none, always with a smile and a word. Food excellent. Hope to be back before Christmas.
Old world charm I had lunch there . Sunday afternoon busy staff were super friendly and service was fast and food was delicious. After words had a walk on the ground very scenic and relaxing play area for children.
We had our wedding at Castle Oaks House Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Trish and her team made the entire day run so smoothly and were incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Their calm professionalism meant we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. We’re still being told by our guests how lovely the food was, which says a lot about the quality and care the team put into the day. Castle Oaks is a fantastic venue if you’re looking for a relaxed, fun wedding atmosphere while still feeling really well looked after. We’d highly recommend it to any couple planning their special day.
