My family has been dining at this restaurant since the 1920s, possibly even before then. I am very excited to visit again, as I have been familiar with it since the 1960s and 1990s. My plan is to dine there again in 2022. Even though I may not know anyone there, that shouldn't deter me from enjoying the experience. the food was good, but the bar staff was not very friendly. it is not difficult to be polite and friendly. in any case had a league of the hearts feel about it. that is a scandal as it is a beautiful place with some great features. View all feedback.
We chose to have our wedding reception in a local pub to support the industry specially with the current affairs. I am so glad we did. They went above and beyond for us. The staff were attentive the food was raved about by everyone and overall the atmosphere was excellent and exactly what we envisioned for our day.. if you are considering a pub for your wedding I would highly recommend McDermotts. Stunning beer garden/smoking area as well
