Vill-ind - Castle Point
Vill-ind
Description
Village Indiya offers a varied dining experience, with service receiving accolades for its friendliness and attentiveness. While some diners cherish the unique plant-based options and generous portions—particularly praising dishes like the Plant Beef Rogan Josh and Gorkha's Revenge—others have expressed disappointment with the food's taste and presentation quality in takeout orders. Complaints about oiliness, incorrect orders, and issues with delivery highlight inconsistencies. However, many guests appreciate the inviting atmosphere and the restaurant's cleanliness. Overall, while some find a memorable culinary adventure, others leave wishing for improvements in flavor and execution.

Feedback
It was a delivery, we ordered online through village India restaurant, the meal costing more than £30 arrived an hour later, the food was awful, tasting partly of burnt or rancid oil, the pots of sauce I’m guessing were supposed to be mint sauces tasted sour split when poured on rice, the onion bhajis were so over cooked, a complete waste of money, never again!,!,,,,,,
We went for our family Christmas Dinner and were made so welcome The young children were welcomed, the increasingly tipsy grownups were kindly tolerated and everyone was made happy welcome and relaxed. Thank you. xxx
Been waiting for a such a long time to see a pure Indian restaurant in Southend. Excellent service and food is very tasty
I went to this restaurant with my friends and we all enjoyed the delicious and high-quality Indian food. The Gorkha's Revenge dish was particularly tasty and a must-try. The Lamb Dosa as a starter was amazing and memorable. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly.
