I had my badge, which would have allowed me to park for free across the roa... read more The food at this restaurant was okay, but unfortunately I received a parking ticket. I had my badge, which would have allowed me to park for free across the road. I was unaware that the small concrete space next to the pub was a paid parking area. Despite forums advising me to ignore it, I now have court costs of £175 for a disappointing night in a mediocre place that I traveled 30 miles to get to. I won't be returning. The parking situation feels like a scam.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and service brilliant.Food and drinks are exceptional value.Decor and seating very very good with lovely view over the coastline will certainly visit again Sunday roast supported by ample various vegetables The only drawback is the stairs (about 20)leading up to restuarant

I ordered the lamb... read more I went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday. The layout is nice and the food was delicious, well presented, and there was plenty of it. I ordered the lamb for my main course, which was beautiful. I could have eaten it all over again. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The only downside was that the toilets could use some attention and revamping.

The surroundings were very relaxed. As this establishment is also a Cocktail Lounge the drinks were a bit on the pricy side. Nice comfortable seating but Car Parking is expensive and the company which run the Car Park are far too quick to issue tickets. I was 3 minutes late leaving and they hit me for £100 PCN. Total thieves. My advice would be to park in Lubbins School Car Park which is a 2 minute walk away.

Plus had a Michael Bublé tribute singer on who was pleasantly good and an added bonus. Plus the wine is the best by far. Will be coming back again. Great date night.
