After a few disappointing visits, I heard it was under new management so I decided to give it another go. What an improvement! Staff were friendly, food portions almost doubled in size, new owner really lovely and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit.
Received a voucher for Christmas, for afternoon tea. Enjoyed Cheese Cucumber, Egg Lettuce and Coronation Chicken sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and Victoria sponge and chocolate sponge tea cakes. Both white bread and Granary bread was lovely and fresh. We had a pot of tea with was enough for 4 cups of tea each. £15.95 per head. Vouchers are available at the counter.
This tea room is lovely, with friendly and excellent service. The food is always top-notch and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
An amazing experience. Was having a bad day and thought I would treat myself to a coffee and cake. The staff suggested a home made cupcake which was amazing! I chose the caramel cupcake but there was also a strawberry one which I would love to try on another visit. The new owner is fabulous very friendly and approachable has bought a new lease of life to the tea room. I will definitely be back very soon with my husband because he loves cake
