We had a roast here , my wife is a celiac so can not eat gluten so Yorkshire , stuffing , pigs in blanket can not be included and all they offered was extra veg... read more We had a roast here , my wife is a celiac so can not eat gluten so Yorkshire , stuffing , pigs in blanket can not be included and all they offered was extra veg and a potato . We were told everything is prepared fresh so Yorkshires can be made easy at low cost . The pigs in blankets were 1/2 the size of my little finger . also there was a pig in blanket put on the gluten free plate , good job she didn’t eat it Having said all of this the food was very tasty and the girl who brought the food out was very cheerful and chatty . The order taker and the girl who served the drinks need serious training as we didn’t get one word out pf the drinks lady and the order lady was offering fishcakes , full roast etc even though we said one needed to be gluten free . They had a very young lad called Nathan Fitzpatrick doing magician things , what a very talented young man he doesn’t get paid so give him a tip if you see him his attitude and friendly approach was exceptional . We would go back but front of house staff need to be a lot more happy , i do some hosting and sometimes i dont want to be there or i am not feeling it but customers pay 100% for the food service is the icing on the cake , its Show time . If you cant do that then you need to work in a non service environment . This criticism is only to get it better .
