The Berg Haus - Castle Pines

My companions and I thoroughly enjoyed the wings and tater tots at this restaurant. The service was also top-notch, quick and courteous. Visiting from out of town and seeking a casual dining experience, we were pleased with our decision to dine here.

I was extremely let down by the service at this restaurant. When I tried to politely address my concerns with the Manager/bartender on our way out, she was dismissive and immediately became defensive. It's disappointing that our local bar and grill, just down the road, has such poor service. We won't be returning.

We were a group of 8, consisting of 4 children and 4 adults. It was our first time at this restaurant. The service was slow, but understandable given the current circumstances. One of our friends who manages a Bar and Restaurant was surprised to see that there was no Manager present on a Saturday early evening. The waitress seemed to be new as she confused our drink orders, which only included tea and sodas. We did order 2 beers, but she repeatedly came back to confirm our order - one Michelob Ultra and one Cream Ale. We finally received the beers halfway through our meal. The fries and tater tots were delicious, however most of the burgers were overcooked and lacked flavor. The wings were well sauced but were also overcooked. Despite our group of 8, the bill totaled over $200. Based on the high price and our overall experience, we would not recommend or return to this restaurant.

This is the first time coming to this restaurant. We sat at the bar table and we had Rick serve us. I got the (Haus Berger) with french fries and a ginger ale and everything was just right. It didn 't take long at all for the food to come out which is a big plus. The burger was cooked just as I told them to cook it and was pretty dang good. Their fries smack as well. Rick, our server was very friendly and got us everything we needed. They also have an outside patio where you can eat with your friends or family. Overall it 's a solid place. I 'd recommend it.

Its a toss up with Berg Haus. Sometimes you have great food and ok service, others you will have no server have to go the bar your self to get water and order everything through the app, sometimes you get great service and ok food. Its really a toss up.
