My husband and I had a very bad experience at Three Beans Cafe today. We arrived at and asked if the kitchen was still open. On being told Yes, we ordered lunch to eat in store. The food took long to arrive. At were busy eating when we were approached by staff and told we had minutes to eat and leave as they were closing. We paid for our food in good faith when we ordered and didn't get to finish eating. Even my tea was left unfinished. I can't believe small business owners behave like this after coming out of lockdown. Never going back.
Myself and my partner are regular customers to beans. We mainly choose this cafe because of the quality and service, HOWEVER what I witnessed today will now ensure WE NEVER COME BACK. Myself and a friend witnessed a worker drop food on the floor...then proceeded to pick it up and then place it back onto the plate for the customer to eat. the WORST part was that the male OWNER of three beans was sitting there laughing with his worker about what they were potentially getting away with. There are no words for this type of behaviour! This shows no respect for the customers or even for the health of their patrons. I was absolutely disgusted. When trying to speak with the owner regarding his behaviour all we received was a brush off comment saying we replaced the food its ok' LOL what a joke!!!!!!! We will be reporting this cafe to the health authorities. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.
My partner and I frequently visit this restaurant for lunch. The food is always fresh, they use free-range eggs, and the service is good. My go-to dishes are usually the poached egg and smoked salmon or the lamb wrap.
Tried this healthy green bowl. Avocado was fresh, so was the quinoa and kale. Halloumi could've been grilled more for that special crunch, but overall it was a lovely dish. I'd definitely come back here again. So many options on the menu, for burger lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was great.
