we had an excellent dinner at l’entree. the menu was interesting, eating was exceptional and the decor was beautiful. the tables were far away, creating a calm and covid-safe atmosphere. one of the best restaurants in the environment. I've heard great things from others. View all feedback.
We went for dinner with a group of friends for the first time as the restaurant had been recommended to us. We will most definitely be back. Alexander met us very warmly and asked if we had any allergies etc. We settled in with 5 incredible cocktails, some of the best we’ve had. We were then served with a starter of smoked trout and crab which had been home smoked and the flavours were delicious and the presentation was first class. Our main course was duck breast with an orange glaze which was so beautifully cooked and matched by some equally gorgeous vegetables, the highlight being the torched chicory with maple syrup. The majority of the group had opted for a large carafe of rosé which was very drinkable but some of us also chose a lovely red to go with our duck. Dessert did not disappoint either. We had an amazing caramel flavoured mousse on a chocolate nut base which was heaven on a plate. We then finished with coffee and an exceptional home made calvados type digestiv. Alexander clearly enjoys creating menus and cocktails and said he can create a dinner to suit a group of people eg if you love fish or a particular meat. Also if you dislike anything particular we can specify and he will avoid it. So he offers a very personal experience. The price point was very good for this quality of food and the amount of alcohol consumed too at around £45 per head. Alexander was the perfect host, barman, chef and waiter. We can’t wait to return.

We visited this restaurant last night. alex the owner has completely revised the restaurant and it is a nice place to eat. there is room for free, but we decided inside. alex is a cordon bleu cook and his work was as always first class. The summer menu is diverse and everything was tempting. I had a problem with the courts. Finally, we have decided to have only one main course and dessert. we had served lamb with a kind of veloute of drowned and a wonderful sauce, followed by a divine dessert of the pear with cream bruleé. I had a glass house white and my man the red both very beautiful. the menu has both French and English. a nice experience and we will go back soon. served only in the evening meal.
The quality of the reception deserves a detour. Service, Kitchen, Top Bar.
