So Vi So - CASTELROTTO

Me and my hubby decided to escape the summerheat of the city and go to the mountains. Did not regret going to Ortisei, wich is a beautiful mountain village in the alps. First night we stumbled upon this little piazza as we heard some nice guitarplaying coming from there, We ended up staying at So Vi So the entire evening. After the performance of the two great guitarists we asked if we could step in a minute and play the piano there. The manager was very kind to let us and we ended up playing and singing for about an hour. Great drinks, Beer and live music: A place that made me very happy!!!!!

This is a great place, we came in the evening before dinner, and the drinks , service and atmosphere is just perfect. Nice range of wines, and the nicest beer we tried in Val Gardina (try the Hell beer), nibbles are served with drinks and good range of sweets. Bands are good as well, highly recommend this place

This place is almost hidden. You have to sneak around one hidden square close to the main square and Scuola Ski Ortisei. Very modern and very classy.

So Vi So is located in a very quiet square in the center of Ortisei. Very nice and friendly owner. Perfect for a coffe or a drink in the afternoon.

If you want some eggs for breakfast, this is the place to go. You can ask for an omelette off the menu and they are happy to oblige.
