Good menu of... read more Great prominent location with good views. Baroa is a very large, family run restaurant with an entrepreneurial spirit and a customer service focus. Good menu of mainly local dishes and also classic Portuguese dishes. Daily specials, such as veal and lamb dishes using local suppliers. The cuisine here is very good not gastronomic but very well prepared using local fresh ingredients and trusted suppliers. Quite meat based but then we are in the Beira Baixa in the interior of Portugal after all! In the summer, Baroa gets very busy and they are also big for weddings and functions, so check in advance if necessary. Very accommodating and friendly with an extensive and good value wine list. Recommended
