One visit could not be enough for a judgment, I would say that there is a need to go to service. the meatballs, indicative dish of the kitchen, are good and genuine. honest price. View all feedback.
Popped in for lunch on way back from a morning out. Not busy so we’re seated and served quickly. The waiter had limited English, but better than my Italian! We had a light lunch, bruschetta, salmon tagliatelle and a seafood risotto. All perfectly fine and under E50
My wife and I discovered this place in 2017 when we arrived in Pianella on a Sunday night and everything else was closed. They closed for COVID, and found it hard to reopen as the chef left. However, they have now been open a year, and the food, ambience, pricing et al is just as good. Appetizers run around €5-7, pizzas (which are excellent) average €9.50. There are many “treats”, the fagioli al farci is fantastic at €5.50, and the “free” Cupertino of cooked pizza dough with a hot-ish tomato sauce, will get you ordering a beer. Their house wine is Felsina, which is an excellent vineyard about 11 kilometers away in Castelnuovo Berardenaga…worth a visit in itself. They have many other very good value wines, like Deviole at around €20 for the Chianti Classico or €35 for a 2018 Riserva. Please go and enjoy, it’s not fancy (like many Tuscan locales) but it’s really super.
We spent 2 nights at a nearby hotel/resort. Didn’t want to drive anymore and tried this restaurant at the recommendation of the hotel. We loved it! Great food, reasonably priced. So happy with our meals.

Group lunch, typical Tuscan dishes slightly revisited in gourmet, excellent. plentiful portions, great service, very recommended.
