We were at El Timoner last week September). Ambiance and staff are just so so but we enjoyed our food. For 25 euro pp we had a 3 course meal. My friend got a plate of grilled seafood as her main course it was so huge she could barely eat half of it. We were not charged for wine or water , not sure if that was a mistake or part of the menu. Més que un bar és el punt de reunió imprescindible pels amants de la nàutica i els bons cocktails a la Costa Brava. Els cafés i els entrepans de truita són mítics però l’ambient familiar és el que enganxa. Porto vino mesh anys gaudint-lo i espero vint anys mes

Overall it was a great value for the money. Other diners had meat dishes that looked spectacular leg of lamb and lamb roast). We would go back.
We are regular visitors to El Timoner, and enjoy a beer or two before and after dinner out in Ampuria. Always a warm welcome for many years from Mario. El Timoner is a bar and not a dining location. We especially enjoy football nights with Barcelona live on TV, and a chance for us to support the local team! Looking forward very much to our next visit in a month or so.

Sensacional bar en el que me he parado a hacer el bocata de jamón de rigor y una copita de vino para acompañar muy simpáticamente. Muy bonito y bien cuidado, lleno de detalles marineros y cervesísticos. Una terraza ancha y soleada en la que se está muy bien, un placer.
