It's a good choice for authentic Italian food prepared from scratch on-site using very local ingredients. To be brutally honest, I'm not sure it's as fantastic as some of the Italian reviewers here seem to believe. Italians can be very partisan when it comes to food, so once they find what they believe to be the authentic version of something, they tend to dismiss anything else as nowhere near as good. As non-Italians, we found that most Italian restaurants offered decent food and Luisetta was better than most, but it wasn't truly awe-inspiring. But then, perhaps our palates aren't as finely tuned as the typical Italian's. Something to bear in mind is that this is place is very widely known and it can be very busy, particularly at weekends when coaches come in from as far afield as Rome. Friday is also a special day at the restaurant: the whole menu (apart from the sweet course) is based on baccala (dry salted cod).
