This unassuming little café became one of our favourite places due to the lovely friendly service, the great views and the local atmosphere. The tourists go up to the top of Castallabate by bus or coach and miss this little gem about three quarters of the way up. Il bar si trova in una deliziosa piazzetta, le ragazze sono cordiali, professionali e ti fanno sentire coccolato. Il cappuccino è buono e i cornetti hanno una buona scelta e sono ottimi di sapore. Ho scelto questo bar come angolo di paradiso mattutino, anche se devo fare qualche gradino in più per arrivarci. Ne vale la pena. Consigliatissimo.

The non-Italians who stop at Porta La Chiazza are are travellers rather than tourists and we chatted to some interesting people here. The coffee here is excellent and inexpensive. There are quite a few tables which are rarely full when we visited which meant that we could linger here at our leisure and chill out. Highly recommended.
