Hungry for lunch, and having been turned away quite rudely from 2 restaurants in the nearby town of Casteldelfino, we stopped here on the way home. The family was at lunch but welcomed us in despite our lack of a reservation. While the interior is very pleasant and welcoming, we chose to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air and nice view. Our pleasant hostess Cinzia served us bread, antipasti, pasta, secondo (meatballs with vegetable , and dessert (pesche ripiene, delicious! , all made in-house and all very good. The antipasti platter for two, while excellent, was a touch pricey at 20€, but the rest was quite reasonable: 10€ for the pasta, 9€ for secondo, only 3€ for dessert. We didn't care for the vino sfuso (we tried both white and red , but there are bottles available for order that we'd try next time. All in all, a lovely lunch to top off our day outdoors.
Food was very good and I was surprised not to see more people. We discovered that everything was made in house A couple of negative nites: the appetizer although very good was dismal and pricey ; the house wine particularly the white was poor
Very beautiful place. Friendly staff. Good and tasty homemade food. The room was very nice.
